To All the Mothers - Past, Present, and Future

I want to speak from my heart to yours this Mother's Day. Mother's Day has always been a powerful reminder for me—not just of the beauty of motherhood, but of the strength it takes to become the kind of mother you were never shown how to be - not just for yourselves, but for your children. That choice is not small. It's generational!

For 18 years, I've had the sacred honour of walking alongside some of the most courageous women I've ever known, as they work through some of the most challenging seasons of their lives; mothers who have faced unthinkable pain, who've fought through the grip of addiction, abuse, shame, and trauma, and who've chosen to rise.

Many of them - so many of you - are mothers. Some of you didn't have a roadmap. Some of you were never mothered the way you needed. Yet here you are, choosing a new path—not just for yourselves, but for your children.

Every tear you've cried, every truth you've faced, every moment you've chosen healing over hiding—it matters. Your life speaks a powerful message: the cycle can stop here. You are living proof that a new legacy is possible.

And what I've seen over and over again is nothing short of a miracle: women who were lost in addiction, shame, trauma, and hopelessness choosing to fight for freedom… and finding it. Women are learning how to love, feel, and forgive—starting with themselves. Women stepping into motherhood with courage, even when they were terrified.

You are those women. You are warriors. You are history-changers.

I've seen women walk through our doors believing change is impossible. And I've watched them walk out free—knowing their worth, knowing their Creator and King love them, restored, full of purpose, reconnecting with their children, and walking in a new identity. The work you've done and continue to do will echo in the lives of your sons and daughters. They will know a different kind of love because of you. They will grow up seeing what strength, softness, and redemption look like.

When I think about the legacy you're creating, I get emotional—because I know the power of a healed mother. I've seen how your healing brings healing to your children. I've seen how your choice to do the hard work rewrites family stories. What you're doing will impact generations. And I want you to hear me clearly when I say: you are enough. You are beautiful. You are seen. And I'm so proud of you. Every day you choose growth, every time you show up when it's hard, every time you forgive yourself and keep going—you are building something beautiful. And you are not alone. I see you. I believe in you. And I'll keep fighting for women like you until my last breath.

Happy Mother's Day to every one of you—those who've come and gone, those still on the journey, and those yet to come. You are the heart of what we do. And your story is far from over.

Today, I honour every mother who has come through our program—and every mother yet to come. You are more than your past. You are a vessel of hope. Your healing is not just yours—it's a gift to the next generation. Happy Mother's Day. Keep going. The seeds you're planting now will bloom in ways you can't imagine.

With all my heart,

Janine
