CARRIAGEWAY
At Carriageway, history and hospitality meet. Our original Red Rattler train carriages - once icons of the NSW rail network - have been lovingly restored to create one-of-a-kind accommodation. Step inside and you’ll find a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort.
Red Rattler Carriages – Quirky, self-contained spaces with queen bedrooms, bunk options, kitchenettes, and cosy lounge areas. Ideal for families, couples, or groups seeking something out of the ordinary.
Country Apartments – Traditional style, with generous living spaces and spa baths. These apartments are close to the pool and perfect for couples wanting a relaxed, comfortable base.
Station Master’s Cottage – A peaceful hideaway with its own private garden and breathtaking views of the Dungog countryside. Designed for families or two couples travelling together.
Surrounded by rolling hills, Carriageway is a great base for bushwalking, mountain biking, or exploring the Barrington Tops. Or you can simply curl up with a book on the verandah, enjoy the pool, and let the rural quiet settle your soul.
